An idea was conceptualized, that will or made as a tradition of their own Municipality, inspired by different festivals of the country acknowledge and launch by the Department of Tourism as seen in “WOW PHILIPPINES” bit by bit an image was Molded for a Festival that will introduce and tell the Adjacent towns of what domestic products and livelihood PADRE V. GARCIA could offer and be known for. Through this IDEA Brain Storming was done, together with Group of people Different Level of Society until the Group now known to be GARCIANO’S TRIBE ASS. INC. The Tribe continuously gathers their enormous and brilliant thoughts. Which came up until the launching of “KABAKAHAN FESTIVAL” the Festival KABAKAHAN not only refers to as PADRE V. GARCIA being known “ the Biggest Auction Market in Southern Tagalog, but particularly stands for: KABATAAN KABAKA, KABABAIHAN, BAKA, BAKAHAN, KALALAKIHAN, KATATANDAAN, SIMBAHAN AT PAMAHALAAN. With this meaning if only connotes that group of people has the right to promote and impart their knowledge through tourism to help the livelihood of each GARCIANO’S, with the support of Provincial Tourism Council of Batangas and Local Government of Padre V. Garcia. The GARCIANOS TRIBE ASS. INC. will live on until the Objectives of the KABAKAHAN festival are achieved.

KABAKAHAN festival, the primary tourist attraction of Padre Garcia, stands with the following meaning – KABATAAN which signifies the youth being the future generation; KABAKA symbolizes unity of various barangays; KABAKAHAN which characterizes the local government; elders men, women and church who share the same ideas and principles toward the town’s progress. This celebration is a manner of exchanging gratitude to the local and foreign tourist in one way or another contributed to the aim of the local government and different sectors of bringing forth progressive tourism. The festivals will showcase various cultural skills and talents that will cement the indigenous capabilities of all Garcianos. This will open the door for the KABAKAHAN festival to gain more popularity and serve as primary source of income for the town’s local tourism.
